Originally from Syracuse, Alison is an interior and exhibition designer currently living and working in Brooklyn, New York.
She earned her B.A. in Art History and Spanish from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, graduating Cum Laude in 2007, and an M.S. in Interior Design from the Pratt Institute, graduating in 2012.
Alison spent the two years between college and graduate school living in Northern Spain teaching English to middle and high school students. During her last year at the Pratt Institute, she was an integral member of the Exhibition Design Intensive Thesis program, where she and her classmates worked on exhibition projects in the "real world." Her design skills, knowledge of architectural history, and strong eye for design led her to be the exhibition designer for an exhibition at The Center for Architecture entitled, "V'SOSKE: Rugs by Architects, Architecture in Transition 1979-1990," while still a student at Pratt. She is currently a designer at V'SOSKE, working on high-end residential and luxury commercial projects.
In her free time, Alison is pursuing her interests in digital fabrication and furniture design through a certificate program at the Cooper Union. She continues to be inspired by art, architecture, and walks through NYC. Her other interests include: baking, road trips, running, playing in a recreational sports league, and spending as much time with dogs as possible.
